Spring Exhibition 2024
Featured artworks by 19 of the Sunshine Coast’s leading artists displaying a diverse range of quality art.
Our 2024 Spring Exhibition was judged by Sunshine Coast sculptor, Cam Crossley, creator of the 6′ 1″ life-size, bronze sculpture at the Cotton Tree Cenotaph. It is of Sister Greta Towner,1891 – 1961, a local Blackall nurse who served in wartime Australia. Cam’s demonstration speech was on the fascinating process of making the sculpture.
Once again ‘The Shoplifters’ once again entertained us on Friday morning and at the official opening. A percentage of our raffle was donated to the “Orange Sky’ charity who provide laundry for the homeless in our area.
Guest Judge Cam Crossley choose Nicole Burr’s beach scene as the Best in Show.

Easter Exhibition 2024
This Easter Weekend exhibition was extended from three days to four. Featured artworks by some of the Sunshine Coast’s leading artists offering a diverse range of art.
Guest judge Tricia Taylor a master pastelist gave a demonstration of her work.
Local group, ‘The Shoplifters’ once again entertained us on Friday morning and at the official opening.

People’s Choice
Exhibition visitors are asked to vote twice. Firstly, to choose their favourite work of art. Secondly, to choose their favourite artist. Anne Crook was the winner this Easter.

During the 2023 October long weekend, 18 local artists exhibited their artworks, many sold at very affordable prices,
Once again, more than 200 original works were offered for sale comprising a variety of styles and mediums, from traditional oils and watercolours to abstract works.

Easter Exhibition 2023
The 2023 Easter Weekend exhibition was extended from three days to four. Featured were art and craft works by some of the Sunshine Coast’s leading artists and artisans, offering a diverse range of art.
Over 200 original artworks were offered for sale, comprising both traditional and contemporary styles including oils, watercolours, acrylic, mixed media and pastel works.
Garry Dolan was the VIP Guest Speaker and Judge this Easter. Garry is an award-winning artist and he holds the prestigious position of Resident Artist for various Ballet Companies. He is also a founding member of Sunshine Coast Plein Air Painters.

Well-known art curator Nina Shadforth judged Gaye Cook’s work as best in show and once again CJ Lucas as runner-up

With 17 local artists exhibiting their latest work, visitors had the opportunity to see outstanding, quality artwork at affordable prices to adorn their walls at home or office.
More than 200 original works were offered for sale comprising a variety of styles and mediums, from traditional oils and watercolours to abstract works.
Well known Artist, De Gillett judged Almeta Lennon as best in show and CJ Lucus as runner-up
Visitors were also invited to select their favourite in the People’s Choice Award.
Stella O’Keefe was chosen for the third consecutive time, as the People’s Favourite.
Spring 2021 Exhibition
With 20 local artists exhibiting their latest work, visitors got the chance to see outstanding local artworks on display and find quality artwork at affordable prices to adorn their walls at home. Over 200 original works will be offered for sale comprising a variety of styles and mediums, from traditional oils and watercolours to abstract works. Coolum High School exhibited student works. Visitors were invited to select their favourite in the People’s Choice Award.

Easter April 2021
We exhibit twice yearly – an Easter Exhibition and a Spring Exhibition since 1968, each held at the Coolum Beach Civic Centre Queensland Australia.
Although the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic forced us to cancel our exhibitions in 2020, we were back in 2021 on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of April
With 20 local artists exhibiting their latest work, visitors got the chance to see outstanding local artworks on display and find quality artwork at affordable prices to adorn their walls at home. Over 200 original works were offered for sale comprising a variety of styles and mediums, from traditional oils and watercolours to acrylic works. At each biannual exhibition, there is a themed section of works separate from the main body of work. Exhibiting artists each submit one piece of work based on this central idea and visitors will be invited to select their favourite artist in the People’s Choice Award.
