Julie’s art is a reflection of the area she lives in, and the beach features often in her art. She also loves quirky, fun art that makes people smile. Trying to capture an idea within the parameters of a page or canvas always presents a challenge, and she regularly paints “en plein air” to capture the atmosphere and light of our lovely part of the world.
Julie’s particular passion is painting “en Plein air” and the Sunshine Coast is the ideal place for such a pursuit.
